Born in 1957, Tom Brydelsky lives in New York. His mixed-media encaustic paintings are an investigation into the nature of perception, memory, and the living environment. He is among prestigious recipients to receive a 2017 Pollock-Krasner grant.  His work has appeared in numerous publications, televised features on art and home décor, as well as group and solo exhibitions in the US and Europe.

Brydelsky is also a seasoned museum educator. He has served at many notable New York intuitions including; The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Queens Museum of Art, The Hecksher Museum of Art and the Parrish Art Museum. His work is among many prominent public and private collections including the Ben Shahn Center Galleries, William Paterson University and the Hecksher Museum of Art.
